Mainline Model Club

Mainline District started a Model Club on 10th January 2009.

The club started with some very talented members and a wide variety of modelling talents. The modelers and their models range from super detailed plastic scale aircraft and tanks, cheap and cheerful rubber powered aircraft and on to control line and radio controlled aircraft and tanks.

The group are busy building a joint venture 1/8th scale World War 1 Mark1V Tank. This will be a radio controlled 1 meter long model.

June 2011 Update

The model club has been involved for some time now in building a model of a bren gun carrier.The model in question is actually full size and we are hoping to be able to take children for rides at fetes etc to promote the MOTH order. The law states that we are not allowed to own an armoured fighting vehicle but there is no law about models....We are taking strain financially and are desperate for an engine, so all help will be welcomed. This project will become the property of the order.
