2nd Annual Golf Challenge

MOTH GOLF DAY – CROWN MINES GOLF CLUB.
M.O.T.H Warrior Oasis Cottages is hosting its 2nd Annual Golf day on Friday 23rd April 2010
in order to raise much needed funds for their 27 M.O.T.H. Cottages.The Moth is a non profit organization consisting of Ex-Servicemen and Women. One of our aims is to raise funds for our M.O.T.H. cottages. All monies raised in this tournament go directly to the Moth Warrior Oasis Cottages based in Muldersdrift, just off the N14. The 27 cottages house elderly ex-servicemen and woman, the majority of whom have to live on a government pension of R1040.00 per month .Our aim is provide our residents with safe, secure, affordable accommodation, and not burden them with maintenance costs..
In the last year, I am sure everybody is aware of the 35% Eskom hike, which had a huge impact on our finances. Secondly we have been targeted by criminal elements, no fewer the 5 times over the Christmas period. We are busy arranging improved security around our complex, such as electric fencing, palisade fencing and more lighting. We estimate all in all around R100 000.00.
We currently receive no subsidies of any sort for these cottages. Our income relies totally on the monies we levy our residents, and the generous assistance we receive from persons like you who sponsor or support our functions.
We invite you to participate in this Golf Day in one or more of the following:
Sponsorship of a Hole, Tee or Green – R500- R1000.00 depending on hole
Entering a four ball - R1000. This includes green fees and half way house.
Sponsor watering holes – golfers get very thirsty
Donating Prizes and/or Cash. (No donation too small)
Sponsor caps, goodie bags, half way house, golf balls etc.
All sponsors will be publicly acknowledged in our program on the day and at the prize giving ceremony. Sponsors of holes, tee-boxes, greens and prizes will be able to display banners and hand out marketing material on the day.
