Fellow Moths and Shellhole Friends

With sadness, Marshal Smuts Shellhole has to inform; 19478 Moth George Gardiner answered the Sunset Call after a long illness bravely borne.

A Life Member of the Shellhole, Moth Gardiner paid for and completed the extension of the Gardiner Lounge to the building; in memory of his parents and parents-in-law who had served and lived through World War Two in London. A well-known businessman in the Helderberg area, Moth Gardiner saw service in Kenya during the 1950s.
