The Mainline District Dugout meets throughout the year at different Shellholes. To start this year 2016, the first meeting was held at Winston Churchill, which is in Westville (Durban). At Mainline we are very fortunate that 98% of the time all Shellhole are represented at the District meetings which is great for information getting to all the Shellholes. There is also great competition for the what is known as the Mainline Cup. This cup is awarded every 3 months to the Shellhole that does the MOST towards the Order. Kola Brusser (now 92 years old) does the judication as can be seen in the in the photo’s and to start this year off Delmein Shellhole (34) just pipped Better ‘Ole (33) by one point and followed by Shrapnell/Kum-A-Kye with 30 points.
Two presentations happened, first being the winners of the shoot that Ludie Vos had organised on the Bluff military base through Chris Craig-Mackie and the winners were Winston Churchill Shellhole.
The second presentation was to Kola Brusser with a MOTH 70 year tie ! That must be some sort of Moth record.
