Cottage Flowers is transformed

Transformation

It was originally known as Moth Flora which was started in 1965 to raise funds to help the Bartle Road MOTH cottages.

The decision to rebrand Moth Flora  to Cottage Flowers was made  in June 2020.
On the 12th December great excitement as the morning dawned and painting the hut began.
From a drab dark brown to  clean cream  walls with red doors and windows frames. The hut started to look good. A great change of working environment for the dedicated workers who work tirelessly to raise funds.

Shay Lester and May van der Merwe were the driving force behind the transformation of the Cottage Flowers premises with the help of the ever willing MOTH George Mitchell.

Shay and  May ably assisted by Simphiwe Ndlovu made the transformation happen..
To the  Mdumbi and Journey End shellholes for the cash and paint donations respectively our heartfelt thanks..
One last item and then we are all done. With paints donated by Quinton O’Neil,  a talented young Durban artist Viyanka Luckrajh is busy with a brightly coloured  mural which will adorn the back wall shortly.
