The KZN Provincial meeting for the month of February was held at the Windsor/M’tambu Shellhole in Darnell, which is about 150km up north into Zululand. This is a Shellhole that I (War Correspondent) have never been to. My front tyres to my car were horribly worn so that I was afraid to go in it, so managed to ask the Adj Jurek Krajewski if he would give me a lift. The Durban & District Old Bill, Geoff Atkins also got a lift with Jurek. The Provincial meeting was scheduled to start at 10,30 Sun 28th Feb so we had time to pull into the Whimpy at the Shell garage, for breakfast, not far from Darnell. Shortly after our arrival , then arrived Nigel Baker with Trevor Bamforth, then Luddie & Angie Vos with Alan & Hilary Henderson. A good meal then off to Windsor M’tambu for the meeting. We were well received there by about four or five of the Shellhole members. The meeting was over in about 1 1/2hours and then into harmony, The hosts laid on a very nice lunch for all that wanted to partake.
Thanks to Zululand District Rob Wilson for hosting the meeting and the Shellhole Windsor M’tambu – War Correspondent.
